Families may be different, but they are the same in so many ways as I found out.
Like Thanksgiving with turkey, potatoes, salad, rolls, and pies. Just the fudge was left out.
Games with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends are fun whatever the game.
Movies over the holidays, whether with your mom or someone elses.
Instead of playing sports, walking a 5k and making new friends with strangers.
Eating out at your favorite restaurant with good food and good company.
A family member divulging way too much about their life and why you are glad the conversation was interrupted.
Spending hours on end with a complete stranger and at the end of day she became a cherished friend.
M&M's, especially the brown ones.
Listening to the rain while lying by the fireplace, telling stories and looking at baby pictures.
Eating breakfast every morning with someone you love.
Hugs and Kisses. XOXO
10 hour car rides in sun, ice, and snow with guys singing at the top of their lungs.
Lying on the most comfortable couch in the world with your love.
Finding a big brother.
Football games that last forever.
Thank you Grimsman's for your fun, love, and for making me feel at home.
But most especially, thank you for your son.
